Good progress today. But wow what a lot of sleeping! Well needed after what Mandy has been through since Friday. No energy to talk move eat or drink, everything has been a titanic struggle. However the nurses recording all the data have been very pleased with her progress so no cause for concern even if I (nick) may have worried more than was necessary! At 7pm Mandy is smiling and speaking again and it's all down to an ice lolly Dean gave her, which seems to have brought life back to the parts Heineken cannot reach ( incidentally Heineken would never reach those parts in Mandy's case because she will never touch a beer! Really hopeful for a good day tomorrow, onwards and upwards!
Oh and just to say the nurses have been exceptional in a good way

ReplyDeleteThank you Mandy. She is my heroine, I don't mean that to sound soppy, I am in awe of the way she has handled so much with so much strength and consideration for not herself, but other people including me. You can't even teach that in schools!
